About Rosewood Academy Childcare and Preschool

Rosewood Academy is more than just childcare. Upon entering our facility, it is immediately apparent that the children in our facility are like family. Each child is appreciated for their individuality, and each is encouraged to grow and explore at their own pace. Rosewood Academy has programs for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten, as well as offering before and after school care and transportation.

Rosewood Academy is independently owned by Carl and Kelli Hansen, who are engaged in the day-to-day operations of the school to ensure it is s operating in the children's best interest.

Carl and Kelli are passionately committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education tailored for your child's individual needs. The high-quality education we provide addresses cognitive, motor-skill, language, visual, math and emotional/social development children need to assure greater success in their adolescent years.

Children are like sponges, they soak up all the knowledge provided to them. The more learning is made fun and engaging, the easier it becomes to realize our wonderful world. We realize children learn best when they're actively engaged. Children are naturally curious. We realize that all children are talented, capable and special, whether they enjoy music or math, whether they want to be a businessperson or a ballerina. These little people learn critical science, math, reading and writing concepts through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities.

The teachers at Rosewood Academy are a direct reflection of Rosewood Academy's owners and director. Each teacher knows your child is the most important being in your life. This is exemplified in the teacher's interaction with the children. The teachers encourage children to express their thoughts and questions in the ways they're most comfortable.

Our management and staff are carefully selected and bring forth immense education and experience in the childcare field.

Our classroom teachers are required to have:

• A 2-year degree in Early Childhood or equivalent.
• 12 hours of in-service every year.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

We conduct thorough background checks on each prospective employee for child abuse and/or neglect before they are hired. Our teachers are employed at Rosewood Academy because of their passion is to provide quality care in a stimulating environment. We maintain a higher than industry-average retention rate for our teachers, with most staff being with us since we opened our doors.

We have entrusted Kelli Hansen/Rosewood Academy to care for our child from infancy to 8 years. The last 4 years at Rosewood have been exceptional. It is comforting to know that my child is in the best care while I am at work. We feel like family at Rosewood, and the personal attention given to our child is superior. The activities at Rosewood are phenomenal. From Happy Feet to the Story Teller the children are always busy and having fun. The Rosewood staff is very qualified and talented. I would recommend Rosewood Academy to anyone looking for childcare with a family setting.

Hi Kelli and Fran,
I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for everything today! How could such a terrible morning turn into such an unexpected, fantastic afternoon! I am so thankful for how things just worked out the way they were supposed to. Everyone in the infant room was so welcoming and genuinely interested in meeting Brooks and me. I know (without a tinge of doubt) that Brooks will be in the best hands at Rosewood. I look forward to our upcoming years together in being able to shape Brooks into a little guy we will all be so so proud of.
