Rosewood Academy is independently owned by Carl and Kelli Hansen, who are engaged in the day-to-day operations of the school to ensure its operating in the children's best interest. Being independently owned, the owners are passionately committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education and your child's individual needs. The high-quality education we provide, addresses cognitive, motor-skill, language visual, math and emotional/social needs children need to assure greater success in their elementary years. Children are like sponges, they soak up all the knowledge set before them. The more learning is made fun and engaging, the easier it becomes to realize our wonderful world. We realize children learn best when they're actively engaged. Children are naturally curious. We realize that all children are talented, capable and special, whether they enjoy music or math, whether they want to be a businessperson or a ballerina. These little people learn critical science, math, reading and writing concepts through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities. Teaching StaffThe teachers at Rosewood Academy are a direct reflection of Rosewood Academy's Owners and Director. Each teacher knows your child is the most important being in your life. This is exemplified in the teacher's interaction with the children. The teachers encourage children to express their thoughts and questions in the ways they're most comfortable. Our management and staff are carefully selected and bring forth immense education and experience in the child care field. Our classroom teachers are required to have:
• A 2-year degree in Early Childhood or equivalent. We conduct background checks on each prospective employee for child abuse and/or neglect before they are hired. Our teachers are employed at Rosewood Academy because of their passion is to provide quality care in a stimulating environment. At Rosewood Academy, my girls are loved and cherished for the special people they are. Katie is nearly five years old, and will be MORE than ready to begin Kindergarten after Rosewood's pre-k class. Miss Katherine is sweet, and loving. She makes learning fun and exciting! Emily is almost two, and loves to play with her friends and teachers! She comes home singing songs and showing off her art projects. Rosewood Academy provides our family with a loving stable daytime environment for our children, and new friends for all of us! Kelli fosters a family atmosphere at Rosewood by providing parent's night out events, the Fall Festival, holiday programs, special days at school (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's day) and a number of fun events for the kids. She remembers every child, every family and always makes me feel like I'm the most important one. (I do realize her gift is to make everyone feel that way.) I found Rosewood Academy quite by accident. I happened across two of the nicest young people I had met in quite some time. After talking to Matt and Sarah, they told me about their mom and her day-care center. After meeting Kelli's beautiful children, I can't imagine taking mine anywhere else. She did such a good job with her kids, I don't doubt for a second the exceptional care mine will receive. Jane D. |
Rosewood Academy is more than just child care. Our child care center is a loving environment with an engaging learning atmosphere.
My husband and I have been blessed with two beautiful little girls. It has always been my wish to spend my days with them, instead of at the office. We usually choose the very occasional night out when a grandma is available to baby-sit. When my husband and I were looking for someone to love and care for our children in our absence (or in Grandma's absence) we choose Rosewood Academy hands down.
